UPDATES: The Situation Of Kaizer Chiefs Midfielder Sore Has Deteriorated.
Baccus’ agent has stated that the midfielder will most likely depart Amakhosi before the end of the season.
However, he has only started one match for the Chiefs in 2021/22, and his agent Mike Makaab believes that his client is on his way out.
Baccus’ current contract expires at the end of the season, and he was not among the seven players who signed new contracts earlier this week.
On Gagasi FM, Makaab said, “It’s highly unlikely that he’ll sign a new contract come the end of the season.”
“We’ll keep our eyes peeled for opportunities for him.” It’s disappointing because I believe Kearyn is a top-tier player who, unfortunately, hasn’t found favor with the current coaching staff – something we must accept.” All we have to do now is make sure we’re acting in his best interests.”
Baccus hasn’t been approached by the club about a contract extension yet, according to Makaab, indicating that his time at Naturena is likely coming to an end.
“Not at the moment. There has been very little movement from their side. If they are not offering him a contract extension now, then it’s clear that the likelyhood is that he’ll be leaving the club at the end of the season.”
Chiefs are Baccus third club after he ran out 74 times for Western Sydney Wanderers and 27 times for Melbourne City – both in the Australian A-League.
