 Updates on Paseka Mako After The

Paseka Mako, who suffered a horrible head injury after colliding with teammate Richard Ofori against Baroka on Tuesday, Orlando Pirates provides updates.

Shortly after the left-back collided with Ofori’s knee while clearing a through ball, the game was called off. As the medical crew prepared to place Mako in the ambulance on standby before transporting him to a neighboring medical facility, both sets of players covered him.

Mako was stabilized after a concussion, according to the Pirates, but he was taken for additional medical examinations before an official statement was published.

Orlando Pirates released updates, it reads.

“Following the emergency injury involving defender Paseka Mako in the DStv Premiership clash against Baroka FC last night, Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that the 28 year old is in a stable condition.

The doctor has revealed that CT scan results have shown no signs of skull fracture or any brain haemorrhage however, the player has sustained fracture to the face and nose.

He will remain in High Care and will be assessed by the neurosurgeon again this morning.”
