Transfer News | Orlando Pirates set to lose their rising star to African team

The Orlando Pirates are poised to lose a promising young talent to an African squad.

Following an exciting season, it has been revealed that one of Orlando Pirates’ new players has been monitored by an African team looking to pounce on him.

Kwame Peprah, a 21-year-old Ghanaian striker, has landed in South Africa to conclude his move to Orlando Pirates in 2021 from Ghanaian outfit King Faisal, who were facing relegation last season.

Last season, Kwame Peprah played for King Faisal. In the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League, he was involved in the most goals. In 29 games, he scored 12 goals and added 10 assists.

Al Wahda in the UAE has identified The Buccaneer hitman as a possible replacement for Matar Ismaeil, according to nmmabunda.com.

The Orlando Pirates have yet to decide whether or not to let go of their hot hitman, and that choice will be made when the season concludes.

Kwame Peprah has started 25 games for the Orlando Pirates this season, scoring seven goals and adding two assists.

Orlando Pirates recently lost their talisman to AmaZulu FC, and losing another striker and crucial player will be a major blow; they don’t want to lose their hitman after demonstrating a desire to score goals after a lengthy period of droughts.
