Our resident secret agent believes Bongani Zungu, who will be a free agent in six months, will “seriously consider” joining Kaizer Chiefs.

Amakhosi is reportedly tracking the midfielder now that his loan term at Amiens has come to an end, according to Reports.

In June 2022, Zungu will be a free agent, and Amiens will not be able to keep him because their relationship has plainly soured. The secret spy said, “The recent comments by the Amiens coach about Zungu’s physical condition has made things worse,” and confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs were dominating the race.

“Once comments like this are made public, it might be difficult for a player to recover and find a club because their reputations are tarnished.” In the case of Zungu, it’s a double whammy, since he landed himself in deep water with Rangers for breaking COVID rules, and his time with the club was cut short as a result of his poor performances.

It should also be possible to play in other countries.

“He may have possibilities to stay in Europe, but given his last two seasons – and the fact that he will most likely play no football this season – his agency will have a difficult time finding him a good contract.

He could end up in a league like Turkey for example, sounds good on paper, but many clubs have financial issues there, so that’s probably the last thing he wants after his last two years,” the secret agent continued.

“That brings to the local options in the PSL, where rumours are that Chiefs have made an approach to the player and it’s probably a realistically option for him, others would think that he will strongly consider it. Mamelodi Sundowns might also appears and join the race as well for his signature.
