The mystery surrounding the Kaizer Chiefs injury crisis is revealed.

Kaizer Chiefs Injury Updates as the season draws closer to an entertaining end.

With the season only left with two games to come to an exciting end Kaizer Chiefs have heartache when it comes to their health bill with a number of players being ruled out for injuries.

Kaizer Chiefs started the season with a clean bill of health with regards to injuries with only few niggling injuries and flu there and there but the injuries were not that intense.

It’s kind of shocking that in the second round of the season Kaizer Chiefs players started to get long term injury lay-offs especially to their most important players.

Kaizer Chiefs explosive attacker Ashley Du Preez failed to kickstart the year with Kaizer Chiefs as he was having an injury he got in December training Camp which was held in Limpopo Polokwane in what came as a surprise as Ashley Du Preez doesn’t have bad history with the injury list.

Ashley Du Preez missed the first 5games of the season which alsp saw the Club losing three games in a row coupled with an embarrassing defeat which shall forever live within the hearts of Kaizer Chiefs Supporters as AmaZulu humbled the to a 4-0 lose at the Moses Mabhida Stadium their former player Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Dumisani Zuma came back to haunt their Club as they all got goals in that thumping with both of their goals being headers.

Ashley Du Preez was solely due to his explosive speed upfront which helps Kaizer Chiefs pinback their opponents to play a low block allowing them to have alot of ball position.

Khama Billiat was also met with an injury that kept him out for the rest of the second half od the season when he got a niggling injury which was taken for granted which went on and needed a surgery in order to heal the absence of Khama Billiat meant the Club had to lose one of thejr best dynamic forwards and it surely did reflect in the Clubs attack.

Nkosingphile Ngcobo suffered a low blow just when he was starting to command a regular starting berth the 23years old born in KZN had a tough start to the season after losing his father at the begging of the season which also contributed to loss of form.

Just when Nkosingphile Ngcobo thought he wa getting back his confidence starting games and being entrusted in that number 10 role in terms of helping the team win Nkosingphile Ngcobo got a shock injury at training.

On the Kaizer Chiefs website it’s revealed that the attacking midfielder had an ankle injury which will keep him out for the rest of the season and he might also miss the first few weeks in the upcoming season as he is in therapy.

The latest shocking injury is the injury to Keagan Dolly one of their best players in the past few seasons Keagan Dolly had managed just 5goals this season and also scoring the same number of goals in the process.

Keagan Dolly came off limping in a game against Sekhukhune United and cried as it looked serious it was later revealed that Keegan Dolly would be ruled out for the entire season due to a knee injury.

It had came in as a blow as they were set to take on Orlando Pirates in a weeks time a fixture which they lost three days ago in extra time when Mthethwa headed in.

A number of players like Caleb Bonfils Bimenyimana has also had some injury problems in the season however most of it were not serious.

Eric Mathoho suffered the most hard of them all as he was kept put for almost the entire season only making 1 appearance for the Club as a last minutes sub Eric Mathoho who is on his way out will look at this season and reflect and think of it as one of the hardest of his career due to the injuries he faced.

Last week it was reported that Eric Mathoho was alerted of the decision to not extend his contract which will see his 13years stay with the Club come to an end after serving the Club with honour he will be joining a number of veteran players like Simphiwe Tshabalala,Bernard Parker, Willard Katsande,Tsepo Masilela who also left the Club.

Phathutshedzo Nange and Cole Alexander have also been buwoed by injuries the whole season which stopped them from competing for starting Lineup place also considering tight competition.

Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to avoid a similar conundrum in the upcoming season and hope that they maintain a clean bill of health going into the new season a season where alot would be at stake for the coach Arthur Zwane as rebuilding honeymoon is over.
