The Battle Of Celebrities: Bonginkosi Zola7 Dlamini Hit Back At Pearl Thusi.
Bonginkosi “Zola 7” Dlamini, a legendary Kwaito star, has been on everyone’s mind recently when a video of him in a terrible situation went viral on social media.
Through his SABC 1 show, Hope With Zola, Zola 7 captured the hearts of many people with his golden heart a few years ago, when he helped young people achieve their ambitions and aided poverty-stricken families with money and food.
Now, it appears that he is not doing well and has lost a significant amount of weight, prompting concerns about his health. Rumors have recently surfaced that he is having financial difficulties and is unable to care for his children.
Many people have come out in support of him, urging everyone to pitch in and help him change his life for the better. Pearl Thusi, a TV actress, got herself in hot water after arguing in a tweet about helping him. Pearl tweeted about his supposed GBV claims in response to a Twitter user who stated that SA celebs have abandoned Zola.
“That awkward GBV moment kinda makes things a bit tricky,” Pearl replied. Zola has since silenced her. Hitting back at her accusations Zola said, “Those who know me at a close proximity know false accusations from the truth.”

Following a physical dispute in 2017, it was reported that the musician’s wife, Sibongile Nkabinde, had filed a complaint of physical assault against him. When pressed by a local publication for response, he flatly denied the charges.
“Look, I don’t know anything about these reports you talking about. I am at work and am not interested in speaking to the media. If I had anything to say, I would use my social media,” he said.
“I’m commanding all of you to show Zola love. Guys this is me sitting with Zola and commanding the whole country to show Zola love. I don’t want you one day to show Zola love when he is no longer here.”
“Spending some much-needed time with my brother @jamazola7. Guys, I just want to encourage all of us to do the right thing especially when it comes to one of our own. Zola is an unsung hero who has been a catalyst for change in our society for many years. Let’s not turn a blind eye. #ShowZolaLove.”
