The Chiefs approached the youngster’s camp with the intention of adding him to their list of new recruits, while Stellies also expressed interest in the player.
The crew was subsequently informed by knowledgeable Siya sources that the Cape Winelands team is believed to have won the race to sign the player and has settled on a two-year deal.
which will include Mgaga’s camp’s option for an additional year.
The athlete wants to play normal football next season, but that is not certain with the Chiefs’ all-star roster, according to Siya sources.
Last season, Mgaga made 18 appearances for Baroka in all competitions and contributed three assists to the Limpopo-based team.
