Reasons why George Maluleka would refuse to leave Sundowns.
Maluleka could end up staying at Sundowns for the rest of the season.
George Maluleka’s ability to go out on loan is hampered by his performance bonuses, which are mentioned in his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Maluleka, who has not played much for the club since joining from Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the start of last season, may end up spending the rest of the season at Sundowns, where he has been left dissatisfied in the stands.
“There is no dispute about George’s quality, and several teams have shown interest in the guy. However, the bonus clause poses a problem because “one team allegedly declined to become involved in contract discussions between Maluleka and Downs, while Downs is hesitant to pay him bonuses when (he) plays for other teams,” according to a source.
Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns’ recent acquisition of Bradley “Surprise” Ralani from Cape Town City could indicate that the Brazilians are becoming more willing to let Gaston Sirino leave.
However, Phakaaathi has discovered that Sirino’s attitude at the club is causing the club to become increasingly unwilling to comply with the Uruguayan’s wish to depart.
Sirino has done everything he can to irritate the coaches and the club’s management, as he has been pressing for a transfer away from the club and has made his ultimate destination public.
Downs have so far refused to let the Uruguayan offensive magician to reunite with Pitso Mosimane at Al-Ahly.
Sirino’s actions at Choorklop were not warmly received.
When Sirino was absent from the starting lineup, not among the substitutes, or even in the stands, it was purportedly because he would miss training.
It remain to be Seen if George Maluleka will finally leave Sundowns or Not. Things are really not what he expected it to be.
