Minnie announced her divorce in an Instagram post.
“In the last 2 years, our family has experienced incredible joy and devastating loss. During this time, we found comfort in knowing we had each other.
“Despite our best efforts to absorb the changes in motion, the emotional burden and the post-traumatic distress of our individual loss outweighed our will.
“After months of separation and consultation with our family and a counsellor, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce.”
“We remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our son.”
While their love connection is over, the statement goes on to add that they are still friends, business partners, and co-parents to their son.
The pair married in a beautiful white wedding in Somerset West, Western Cape, in 2017 and filmed their wedding with the three-part “Becoming Mrs Jones” docu-series on Showmax the following year.
Last year, Minnie and Quinton celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, and the “Homeground” host sent her husband a special letter.
“Wishing us a happy anniversary!” “I can’t believe it’s been 4 years already, wow time flies!!!!,” the TV host wrote.
“Marriage isn’t easy, and there have been times when we’ve both wanted to call it quits, but days like today remind us of our vow to each other.” ‘Baba kaNetha, I adore you.’
Since then, the post has been taken down.
