This is good news that football media have been waiting for. This might actually be what the press conference will be all about.

The Premier Soccer League Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza will host a press conference on Monday, 13 December 2021 for a special announcement. The press conference will be live on the SuperSport PSL Channel (202) at 11h30.’

After the advisory arrived, the rumours continued to  escalate. The 64-million-dollar question was why the PSL was ending deliberately media black-out. Kaizer Chiefs saga, the likely suspension of fixtures, the resignation of Khoza and his executive were the topics that fuelled social media speculation.

Later when the elation of the pending  announcement layed low. The name of a former soccer personality Advocate Zola Majavu merged repeatedly. Now it looks like Irvin Khoza is likely to announce Zola Majavu as Nande Backer’s replacements. Will Take over from where Nande Backer left on as a new PSL prosecutor.

If this  comes to pass, it will be the greatest news. He has served the PSL as a prosecutor and legal advisor. Over the past few months, several media outlets called Majavu to comment on several matters, including the protracted Royal AM’s Situation. He has shown a remarkable understanding of the Royal AM saga.

In attempt to clear some of the Royal AM saga, Majavu went on national television to say it was not unusual to see all kinds of controversies happening at the end of a season. He definitely knows lot of things about PSL football.
