Kaizer Chiefs have one of the busiest teams in transfer dealings thus far and the club is expected to make more changes with several players set to be sent out on loan.

The Soweto giants have welcomed six new signings, including the promotion of teenage sensation Mduduzi Shabalala, and announced the departure of 11 players.

A number of players have rejoined Chiefs after their loan deals concluded and with Arthur Zwane’s mandate being to bring an end to the club’s long trophy drought, some young players could be loaned out again in order to get more game-time with Chiefs’ new coach likely to rely more on the experienced campaigners.

Lebohang Lesako, Keletso Sifama, and Darrel Matsheke recently returned from loan spells in the second-tier league but they look set to spend the upcoming season out on loan again.

The trio will likely join Swallows FC on loan, as Amakhosi want these youngsters to gain topflight experience and enjoy more playing time.

Sabelo Radebe is another player who could likely be on his way to the Dube Birds as the Amakhosi midfield is packed with quality and the 22-year-old could be starved of appearances at Naturena.

With Chiefs having an overload of centre-backs in Eric Mathoho, Siyabonga Ngezana, Njabulo Ngcobo, Thabani Dube, and Zitha Kwinika, Thabo Mokoena, who was at Pretoria Callies during the last campaign could also likely spend the 2022/23 season elsewhere.
