Orlando Pirates playmaker step closer to completing a R40 million move.

Orlando Pirates star is one step away from finalizing an R40 million deal.

The offensive midfielder for the Orlando Pirates is valued at R40 million. It is anticipated that the playmaker will return to Portugal.

At the end of the season, Patrick “Tito” Maswanganyi, a midfielder for the Orlando Pirates, might depart the team for R40 million.

For a number of months, the 26-year-old has been connected to UD Oliveirense, a Portuguese team. The playmaker was reportedly approached by the team last year, but no offer was made.

Soccer Laduma claims that although the Portuguese team has stepped up their efforts to sign Tito, the Pirates are demanding at least R40 million for the Bafana Bafana midfield player.

“it’s no longer about an inquiry. It’s about negotiations now. They really want him back in Portugal. They are looking at the progress he had made and they are happy to bring him back to Portugal. it will all depend on what Pirates are looking at or if UD Oliveirense can afford what Pirates will be asking for Maswanganyi,” a source told Soccer Laduma.

Orlando Pirates valued their star at R40 million.

Tito had a great first season after signing with the Buccaneers last season. In all competitions, he recorded 12 goals and 10 assists. The Pirates star has had some difficulty this season, scoring only three goals.

The Sea Robbers have an opportunity to make history after making it to the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League. Although Tito hasn’t played well this season, the Pirates stand a decent chance of winning the Betway Premiership and the Champions League if he can regain his form.

It remains to be seen whether UD Oliveirense wants to pay R40 million to the Orlando Pirates.

At season’s end, should the Pirates cut Tito?
