Stuart Baxter, the head coach of Kaizer Chiefs, was recently fired for bad performance and hurting the Amakhosi support. Arthur Zwane, a fan favorite, was appointed temporary coach, with Dillion Sheppard as his assistant coach.
After much conjecture about who will succeed Stuart Baxter as head coach, a fresh development has emerged. A major development has occurred, as it has been reported that Kaizer Chiefs will replace Stuart Baxter.
Kaizer Chiefs have dropped the short-term aim they set for themselves at the outset of the season, which was to win at least one trophy to relieve the burden of eight seasons without a trophy.
However, the NMMABUNDA has learned that the Kaizer Chiefs’ short-term aim was Stuart Baxter, but that the medium- and long-term goals will now be conducted and collated as Arthur Zwane will be the key man in charge of steering the ship.
Arthur Zwane is expected to take over as coach of the Kaizer Chiefs, and an announcement will be made soon. Kaizer Chiefs are also expected to hire another assistant coach to assist Arthur Zwane and Dillion Sheppard in the new mission and direction the club has adopted.
Kaizer Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jr has also shown his support for Arthur Zwane, putting his trust in him since he is familiar with the Kaizer Chiefs’ identity and style of play, having previously played for the club. He enjoys his transactions and the way he interacts with the players.
Arthur Zwane is ready to take over as head coach and lead the Amakhosi back to glory, restoring the club’s glory days. He (Zwane) confessed that if the team offers him the chance to take over as coach of Kaizer Chiefs, he will seize it with both hands and lead the club. However, he has people on his side who are rooting for him. He will undoubtedly restore the team’s identity and propel it to new heights.
