Mass Exodus | Mamelodi Sundowns are likely to release eight players.

Mamelodi Sundowns is likely to partways with close to eight players ahead of the next campaign.

The Brazilians currently have a number of players worried about their future at the club ahead of next season, as many of them continue to be linked with possible exit.

According to Soccer Laduma, the following eight players have their futures with the club hanging by a balance.

Eight Players Linked With Possible Mamelodi Sundowns Exit

1. Ricardo Goss

He is expected to return to and replace veteran goalkeeper Dennis Onyango as the club’s number two goalkeeper behind Ronwen Williams.

However, Goss seems to not be keen about playing second fiddle, and he may look to stay at Matsatsantsa when his two-year loan spell ends at the end of the season.

2. Etiosa Ighodaro

Currently on loan at SuperSport United alongside Goss, the 22-year-old is likely to force a move away from Chloorkop if he is not part of the club next season.

European clubs in Belgium and France are monitoring his situation closely.

3. Thabiso Kutumela

The former Orlando Pirates attacker is likely to leave the club permanently at the end of the season.

His current club, Cape Town City FC, is among the clubs interested in his signature.

4. Siyanda Msani

Currently on loan at fellow Dstv Premiership side, Cape Town Spurs, the left fullback is currently not in the technical team’s plans for next season.

Another loan move is his likest move ahead of next season.

5. Luvuyo Phewa

Phewa is also at Spurs and faces the same situation as Msani.

6. Promise Mkhuma

The former youth captain of the club is enjoying time at AmaTuks, and Sundowns’ head coach Rulani Mokwena is hoping to have him back at the end of the season.

But he is also expected to leave on another spell ahead of next season, especially if Tuks gets promoted to Dstv Premiership.

7. Thabani Sibanyoni

Like his former captain, the youngster is at Tuks and doing well, but he won’t be back to join the first team next season.

Another loan spell is on the cards, and Tuks is the possible destination again.

8. Sifiso Ngobeni

Currently at AmaZulu FC, the former Bloemfontein Celtic is expected to be sold at the end of the season, and Usuthu is likely to sign him.
