Mamelodi Sundowns are set to sacrifice two of their foreign players to open up a foreign spot for their new recruit.

Two of Mamelodi Sundowns’ international players will have to leave the team in order to make room for their new recruit.

With the arrival of a South American partnership, Sundowns are facing a foreign quota dilemma!

To make room for their South American pair, Sundowns will need to give up at least two of their current five foreign players.

After their South American pair arrived, Mamelodi Sundowns are now dealing with a foreign quota dilemma.

Both Matias Esquivel and Lucas Suarez have made a safe landing in South Africa, according to iDiski Times.

Esquivel has been playing with center-back Suarez at Talleres de Córdoba on loan for the last six months.

Suarez is almost ready to join Sundowns, pending the completion of the required documentation and medical examinations.

Including Abubabeker Nasir, this would make Sundowns’ total number of foreign players eight.

Gavin Hunt claimed he hasn’t seen Nasir in two weeks, despite the fact that it was already confirmed that he had joined SuperSport United on loan.

Nasir will now have to return to Sundowns if SuperSport United decides not to utilize him in light of his recent shenanigans.

The Foreign Quota Conundrum of Sundowns.

As of the now, Sundowns has five foreign nationals registered with them.

They are Erwin Saavedra (Bolivia), Lucas Ribeiro Costa and Arthur Sales (all Brazil), Marcelo Allende (Chile), and Divine Lunga (Zimbabwe).

This implies that Sundowns will have to de-register two foreign players from the present roster if they want to register Esquivel and Suarez.

No foreign national has been connected to a potential departure from Chloorkop as of yet.

Additionally, the technical team and Sundowns administration still have a lot of work to do after the arrival of the South American duo.

However, since the season began, some Sundowns supporters have been very critical of both Sales and Saavedra.

Which two players are you willing to sacrifice?
