Panamanian agent, Edgardo Carles has confirmed that Mamelodi Sundowns have made an offer for former Porto forward, Ismael Diaz (25).

Carles who’s the agent of Diaz, confirmed these news yesterday in an interview with a journalist [ Guillermo Pineda]. He said there were many interests for Diaz however it was Mamelodi Sundowns and CSKA Moscow who had made serious offers.

From Ismael Díaz he confessed that there were many offers and interest but based on what the club was asking for, there were only two real offers, one from Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa but he points out that there was no time to evaluate the offer.

Another offer came from CSKA Moscow and the club liked it, but due to the situation in Russia , there were limitations that prevented the signing from taking place.

Diaz has played for Porto B side, he was also part of the Panama squad that went to Russia during the FIFA World Cup. He currently plays for Universidad Catolica in Colombia were he scored last night. He has had a wonderful 2022 season and president of the club is willing to sell the player at a good price.
