Latest Updates On Kaizer Chiefs Starlet Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.

Stuart Baxter has stated that he will consider reorganizing Kaizer Chiefs’ attack in order to accommodate the talented Nkosingiphile Ngcobo. According to Farpost

In December, Ngcobo, also known as ‘Mshini,’ put in a string of strong performances in the DStv Premiership, scoring two goals and assisting on another.

Baxter, who has relegated Ngcobo to the bench, was not on the bench because he had tested positive for Covid while in charge of Dillon Sheppard and Arthur Zwane at the time.

“He raised his hand, and that’s why he continued to play.” So when we get back, we’ll have to figure out a way to play that allows us to use all of our best players,” Baxter said.

“And if he keeps doing that, he’s telling me I’m one of the best players on the team, and I need to be on the field.” So, whatever team shape or balance we have, whether we play with a back-three or a back-four, three front players or two and one behind, he’s telling me, ‘you better have me mind.’

Ngcobo, 22, also performed admirably in the recently concluded DStv Compact Cup, where he was chosen by fans to play for the Warriors. Prior to Baxter’s arrival, the attacking midfielder appeared in 40 matches across all competitions.

“So it’s not that I dislike him, and Dillon Sheppard and Arthur Zwane thought it was a brilliant idea to smuggle him into the team. Because they know that if I return, if that’s the case, I’ll just bin him again,” added the Chiefs coach.

“However, I’m serious about trying to find a system that will bring back Keagan Dolly, Mshini, Khama Billiat, Bernard Parker, and maybe Samir Nurkovic.” One of them will be absent from the starting lineup.

So I’m going to try to get as many people on the field as possible. Perhaps we’ll have to be a little more inventive with that.
