Kaizer Chiefs veteran Goalkeeper reportedly falls out with head coach Stuart Baxter.

Kaizer Chiefs veteran Goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has reportedly fallen out of favour with Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter with him only having zero starts in the league this season.

When Goalkeeper Brendon Peterson got injured back in March

Alot of Amakhosi faithfuls expected the experienced Itu Khune to step up and take the opportunity with both hands but that was not the case as he was not afforded the chance to do so despite putting in the works at training.

It has been revealed according to a close source that Stuart Baxter is not considering Khune as his top3 goalkeepers while Daniel Akpeyi is also facing an uncertain future.

“Itu loves playing soccer he still wants to continue until his late forties he doesn’t want to retire now he is doing alot to overcome alot of his obstacles which includes losing weight said the source.

Back in December it was revealed that Kaizer Chiefs Chairman Mr Kaizer Motaung promised Itu Khune a position in Kaizer Chiefs structures after his football career something that was promised to former Kaizer Chiefs Midfielder Willard Katsande.

It remains to be seen whether Itu Khune will request a club transfer all hold it on Naturena and wait for his chance which is unlikely to come
