Kaizer Chiefs is set to buy a team but that relys in the log table outcome in the upcoming months.

CAF published new rules that teams without a Women’s team would not be able to feature in their competition making it a must for all football teams jn Africa to have a ladies team but Kaizer Chiefs dismantled their Womens till in the early 200s but that team may return.

When interviewed on Ukhozi FM Jessica Motaung highlighted that they are considering buying a club should they finish in the top 3 which could see them feature in the CAF Champions League or Confederations Cup but the decision relys on whether Kaizer Chiefs will finish high up the log.

Kaizer Chiefs were planning on introducing a Women’s team in 2023 but the new rules gazzeted by CAF puts them in an emergency situation to buy a new club in the coming months should everything be met by the senior team.

In 2021 Kaizer Chiefs Supporters submitted a memorandum of demand among the memorandum creation of a Women’s team was added as a priority by the Supporters and Jessica Motaung has in recent times commented that plans are underway to make sure they build a solid Women’s team that will compete and be on the same standards as the Men’s team
