Kaizer Chiefs Supporters react after a post about Vladimir Putin’s Russia regarding Kaizer Chiefs owner Kaizer Motaung.
After a war broke out in Ukraine Russia were hit with sanctions for invading a sovereign country this also affected Chelsea owner Abramovich as he was forced by situation to sell Chelsea Football Club.
A Kaizer Chiefs Supporter by the name of @Gastroo on Twitter jokingly suggested that Kaizer Motaung also has close ties with Russia and must be hit with sanctions in order to sell the team to a rich Arabian.
It’s an open secret that Kaizer Chiefs have failed to lift even a single trophy since 2015 and have struggled also suffering embarrassing defeats amongst that as they made history by being the first South African team to lose a Cup final vs second tier team in 2019 which was history.
These has made alot of Amakhosi Supporters frustrated and they believe the Motaung’s are no longer in it for the love of football but for their own pockets as they have been doing well when it comes to marketing but poor showing on the field of play.
Especially considering the number of questionable decisions the club has been taking in the past 6years signing unknown average players only to release them after a season that has also been the Kaizer Chiefs case.
While the most recent embarrassing one was when the club was banned for unprofessionalism as they signed Madagascar Midfielder who was playing for Boca juniors Adriamirado Andriamarimanana knows as Dax which saw the club banned for 2transfer windows without signing players with many questioning the management in Naturena.
The tweets suggest that Kaizer Chiefs Supporters would appreciate a change in the club owner or even if they sell 50% of tohe shares but the club doesn’t change its name so that the history of the club remains intact and exist for many decades to come.
