Kaizer Chiefs star’s future is uncertain at Naturena
The future of Zimbabwean attacker Khama Billiat at Naturena is in doubt, according to the most recent reports, mill nmabunda media.
After switching from Mamelodi Sundowns to Kaizer Chiefs in 2018, Khama Billiat has gone on to score 35 goals and assist an equal number of others for the Chiefs. He is one of the highest earners at Chiefs and is reportedly the second highest paid player in the Kaizer Chiefs camp.
Last season, Keagan Dolly led the Kaizer Chiefs attack alone and was directly responsible for 85% of the team’s goals, while Khama Billiat, who benefited from Stuart Baxter’s coaching, managed to get 8 assists while scoring the same number of goals as him.
Insiders claim that Kaizer Chiefs will speak with Khama Billiat about contract negotiations in the upcoming months. Coach Arthur Zwane appreciates the player and wants him to continue playing for the team as a senior member so that he can mentor younger players and continue to put forth his best efforts for the team.
Although Khama Billiat has managed to assist two goals this season, his recent performances have come under fire from supporters who claim he is not giving them his all and who want him to replicate his performance from last season.
After a rocky start to the season, his teammate Keagan Dolly appears to be finding his footing, and Khama Billiat will be looking to build confidence as he makes his injury-related return on Sunday, where he is anticipated to sit on the club’s bench.
