Kaizer Chiefs set to make an interesting announcement on Thursday ahead of Stellenbosch FC encounter.

Kaizer Chiefs have revealed to media journalists to attend their Media Day press briefing to hear about further announcements which will be made during the briefing.

Kaizer Chiefs is set to kick off their return from their FIFA Break with a match against Stellenbosch FC at FNB stadium a fixture which in the past few seasons has proved to be a close encounter filled with end to end stuff and attacks after attacks.

Kaizer Chiefs is boosting a 4match winning run which they started when they beat fellow rivals Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby a game dubbed as the biggest in Africa.

It was revealed over the weekend that Kaizer Chiefs have completed signings of a number of players one of them being Ts Galaxy skipper Given Msimango who is said to have put a pen on paper on a four years contract a signing which many say is one the best signings by Kaizer Chiefs.

Kaizer Chiefs have been having defensive woes in defense failing to keep clean sheets while errors have also costed the Soweto Giants a number of points with defenders such as Zitha Kwinika who has recently come under heavy scrutiny from the Clubs Supporters for drinking the Club.

Another signing which has been confirmed by Kaizer Chiefs is Cape Town City Left Footed Attacking Midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane who has been signed according to recent news on the media space,Mduduzi Mdantsane who played for the Kaizer Chiefs development is set for a return in Naturena at the end of the season.

However it is highly unlikely that on Thursday the Club will be announcing any new signings but it’s rumoured that Kaizer Chiefs will be revealing new progressive decisions that have been taken by the Club to improve the brand which includes addition of certain elements in the team.

A formation of a womens team is said to be one of those on the agenda’s according to insiders who have got a tip for the latest news.

Kaizer Chiefs is under pressure to form a women’s team as starting from next season teams without a women’s team will not be able to partake in the African addition of the African Super League while from 2024 they will also not be allowed to form part of the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup onwards.

Kaizer Chiefs is set to announce this decision on Thursday on a briefing which will include game plans of their next fixture with Stellenbosch FC in their chase to finish the second sport
