CHIEFS COACHES LEAVING NATURENA

Chiefs will have FIVE new coaches at Naturena, according to recent reports. Meaning, several Amakhosi coaches are in the firing line.

Kaizer Chiefs first coaching departure has already happened with this coach.

Now, their SECOND coaching exit is about to take place. In fact, their replacements have already been spotted at Naturena.

Ilyes Mzoughi, who recently landed in Johannesburg is set to become the new goalkeeper coach at Chiefs.

The Mauritania national team goalkeepers’ coach looks set to replace Rainer Dinkelacker, who recently returned to his native Germany after his contract expired, the report read on FarPost.

Therefore, Dinkelacker is the first Amakhosi technical member to depart. However, as mentioned, he will not be the last.

Unfortunately, with the wave of changes at the club, the 43-year old (Aubrey Mothiba) will no longer continue in the first team and could find himself in the less glamorous reserve team at best or out the club at worst,” the statement on KickOff read.

Therefore, Mzoughi will restructure the goalkeeper department.

NEW COACH, THE END OF AMAKHOSI LEGENDS TIME AT NATURENA?

Amakhosi legend, Itumeleng Khune is likely to sign for these PSL rivals.

Ultimately, the new Chiefs staff will assess his situation and have the final say with his contract set to expire soon. As it stands, Khune wants to keep playing and the Amakhosi hierarchy are not keen on extending his stay. Therefore, he will leave Chiefs unless there is a change of heart from the new management.

However, this is unlikely given the fact that Nasreddine Nabi has already identified an outgoing Orlando Pirates player as his potential replacement. Additionaly, Chiefs have lined up several goalkeeper targets. Namely, Stanley Nwabili as they look to strengthen their goalkeeper department.
