Kaizer Chiefs: Exiting stars and their likely new clubs REVEALED

Kaizer Chiefs are on the brink of a mass exodus of players with several stars contracts expiring by this July. Here are the clubs they may play for!

Several Kaizer Chiefs players  who are likely out heading out of the club this June/July, the  essentially mass exodus at Chiefs.

Perhaps even more exciting is the fact that Kaizer, Bobby and Jessica Motaung could bring many new faces to Naturena. For those leaving, a new journey awaits – with new clubs, destinations and a fresh start to their football careers beckoning.

According to Goal, these are the FIVE players likely to leave Kaizer Chiefs.

5 Kaizer Chiefs players who will depart from Naturena end of the season.

1) Lazarous Kambole

Kambole has struggled for gametime under Stuart Baxter and even under Gavin Hunt.

He needs to make a decision – gametime or no gametime and that is a very obvious decision! By the time the transfer window opens on 1 July, Kambole is likely to be one of the first players to leave Naturena.

According to Goal, Simba and Young Africans have expressed interest in him. Kambole’s former club, Zesco United also present a good option for him.

2) Kearyn Baccus

The Australian-born midfielder is almost certainly going to leave Chiefs. Agent Mike Makaab confirmed on the same publication that he is unlikely to sign a new deal with the Glamour Boys.

Melbourne City. His former club and the current A-League champions.

3) Dumisani Zuma

Zuma has faced a combination of issue ranging from drinking, suspension and lack of gametime.

His suspension was finally lifted but Baxter does not seem likely to give him regular playing time.

Stellenbosch FC. Steve Barker has expressed a keen interest in bringing the star to the Western Cape.

4) Samir Nurkovic

Samir has not reached a new deal with Kaizer Chiefs

At this rate he could leave for free due to the fact that Chiefs failed to reach their deadline to exercise a new option with the Serbian.

Al Ahly. His agent, Dajan Simac, confirmed interest from Pitso Mosimane’s club.

5) Daniel Akpeyi

Akpeyi has dropped down the goalkeeper pecking order in recent weeks.

Brandon Peterson is the current preferred choice in goal. It is unclear whether he will renew his deal that runs out at the end of the season.

An unnamed overseas club has expressed interest in Akpeyi.
