Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are all in serious peril!

Mzansi, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns are all in serious jeopardy, and they need your help.

It’s not every weekend that you see the Chiefs, Pirates, and Sundowns all lose!

All three losses have major implications for South Africa’s ‘Big 3′. They need Mzansi to unify in voice and support now more than ever.

This comes after all three franchises suffered significant setbacks to their season hopes this weekend. Sundowns and Pirates both suffered 1-0 defeats in Africa, in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, respectively. Amakhosi were defeated in their much-anticipated live homecoming at FNB Stadium.

Keagan Dolly of Kaizer Chiefs takes on Rushine De Reuck of Mamelodi Sundowns. All of these losses have enormous ramifications…

Putting enormous pressure on the Brazilians, Buccaneers, and Amakhosi (particularly the latter’s coach). For the first time in over two years, the Glamour Boys performed in front of live fans at home.

They also fell 1-0, but this time against SuperSport United at home in the PSL. The fans’ return has been ruined, and Stuart Baxter’s job as head coach at Naturena has been put under a lot of strain. Fans even chanted for him to be kicked out of the club!

With THREE good contenders already identified as Amakhosi’s prospective next coach, this is a distinct possibility. The Buccaneers, on the other side of Soweto, are trying to overcome a one-goal deficit, but they must do so without conceding!

Both the Pirates and the Sundowns are in the same boat. If they want to qualify for the semi-finals of their respective African continental tournaments, they must win by a margin of two goals. If either team concedes, they will have to score three goals to advance!

Since they would (hopefully not! ), they would concede an away goal.

Sundowns were embroiled in a VAR saga, while Pirates were dealt a harsh hand by the referee. Neither team intended to be in this situation, but I am confident that they will both be able to overcome their current deficit.

The Sundowns will then face PEDRO DE LUANDA at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, April 23rd, at 18:00.

Pirates were defeated 1-0 by Simba SC, who will be welcomed to the Orlando Stadium on Sunday, April 24 at 18:00.
