Two down, two to go. This is the current scenario of Amakhosi’s trialists at Naturena after Bradley Cross was sent home and Boris Kopitovic extended his stay with his current club.

Basomboli and Amansio Joao Pita ‘Neymar’ Canhembe (aka ‘Neymar’) have been invited to trial for the Amakhosi senior side.

These two internationals are from Congo and Mozambique respectively.

Canhembe is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for CS Maritimo B in Portugal. Therefore, he will essentially join up with his Mozambique teammate, Edmilson Dove who joined Amakhosi in the last transfer window.

He is the latest player to join Amakhosi on trials, joining up with Congo striker, Basomboli who was called up earlier in the week.

Furthermore, he has been unveiled as one of their latest striker targets. Joining Balint Bajner who is believed to also still be on trial.

Congolese striker Basomboli is the latest striker being profiled by Amakhosi management.

Both men will be given a chance to prove there worth with the January transfer window approaching.

Therefore, Basomboli has a decent opportunity to impress given that Zwane is looking for a striker to provide back-up to Caleb-Bonfils Bimenyimana. As previously mentioned, Kopitovic will not be signed and Bajner is the only other striker on trial.

It remains to be seen whether Kaizer Chiefs will lure them or let them go just like they did to other players who was on trial with them.
