WHEN KAIZER CHIEFS NEW STRIKER ARRIVES IN MZANSI?

Kaizer Chiefs returned to DStv Premiership action on Sunday afternoon when they traveled to the Mbombela Stadium to face TS Galaxy.
The Glamour Boys went down 1-0 at the hands of Saed Ramovic’s side, via an own goal by goalkeeper Brandon Peterson.
Without their star striker Ashley Du Preez, it was always going to be a tough ask for their visibly blunt attack.
But where was last weekend’s Kaizer Chiefs hero? An explanation has since been provided on the absence of Ashley Du Preez.
AMAKHOSI STAR FALLS ILL
“The striker misses the game due to flu infection, the club wrote on its website.” a report read.
Du Preez has 11 goals and five assists for the Glamour Boys. Since joining the club, no Amakhosi player has a better record at the club.
“I was the head of technical of the club and reports were presented and we realised there were certain areas we needed to work on.” Ntseki explained regarding his appointment as Amakhosi head coach.
“There was a lot of noise about other coaches coming to Kaizer Chiefs and the club never said anything about anybody coming to the club.
“I think it was a plan from the club to have somebody from within to continue with the technical team. As for the public and anybody who had questions about me, I have said it that in South Africa you are declared useless before you are even born.
“And I think it’s a process all of us need to understand. When you are carried for nine months there is respect and belief that whoever is going to be born on this earth will have a big contribution to make.”
