Kaizer Chiefs completed the signing of a Lethal striker.

Kaizer Chiefs completed the signing of a elite player.

According to South African top journalist Austin Dithobolo, Kaizer Chiefs FC are eying the Tanzania international Mohammed Hussein.

The 27 – year – old’s current contract with Simba SC expires next month and the man nicknamed Tshabalala is one of the best left-backs in East African football.

Amakhosi are scouting for top talent in East Africa once again with Yanga’s Fiston Mayele also on the club’s radar.

Apart from that, Capetown City FC winger and striker Khanyisa Mayo was linked with a possible move to Amakhosi some couple of weeks back, unfortunately, the move is yet to happen.

After cementing his position at Capetown City FC by signing another contract extension that will make him stay to his current team, former Mamelodi Sundowns FC player has discussed or analysed the reason that might be behind the decision he made.

Sandile Ndlovu believes former Kaizer Chiefs FC deffender Patrick Mayo also influenced his attacking son to extend his stay with The Citizens. Ndlovu believes Patrick as someone who played a professional football before, he does not want his son to repeat a mistake by joining any team at the moment.

Khanyisa Mayo was rumoured as a player who worth R9 000 000.00 before the previous season end. Sandile said when Mayo keeps improving his game, his price will rise. Especially since he is getting a South African national team call up.

Khanyisa Mayo is one of the leading top scorers in South African top or South African elite league. He has netted twelve goals for the Citizens this season. However, Mamelodi Sundowns FC striker Peter Shalulile has also scored twelve goals.

This means Chiefs missed the best player in Mayo by not winning his signature by not breaking the bank, since the management pull out in the race of signing him.

Apart from Mayo, it has been confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs FC management also pulled out in a race of signing Stellenbosch FC player Junior Mendieta. Mendieta was worthing R12 000 000.00.

Kaizer Chiefs FC is a team known for signing free agents players. It seems like even this year, their plan is not to break a bank.

Apart from that, Kaizer Chiefs FC is expected to part ways with the striker Caleb Bimenyimana. The deffender Austin Dube is also expected to leave Amakhosi.

This week, Kaizer Chiefs FC parted ways with one of their long serving deffenders Eric Mathoho after spending eleven season with Amakhosi. The only player who is a senior player with most season, is Itumeleng Khune.

Itumeleng Khune’s contract is also expiring this month. The negotiations are yet to begin. Moreover, he has confirmed that he is not ready to retire.

For just a reminder, in case you missed it, Kaizer Chiefs FC announced the departure of their longest serving deffender Eric Mathoho some hours ago.

Kaizer Chiefs FC fans are asking themselves which team will Tower join before the start of next season. The are two teams that might be Mathoho’s options after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs FC.

There is a possible move for Mathoho to TS Galaxy as a replacement of Given Msimango. Given is a current deffender and captain of TS Galaxy, he has reached an agreement with Amakhosi, he will be announced as a Chiefs player in coming days.

Apart from that, Tower has another option to join Sekhukhune United. Babina noko side is a team known by signing an experience players from different teams, those players include Daniel Cardoso, Edwin Geymer, Victor Letsoalo and others.

As things stand, Mathoho will choose between TS Galaxy and Sekhukhune United. He has not yet retired, this means he will try by all means to get himself a new side.

Before his departure of Chiefs, on the previous season, he has not even played one game. However, some of Amakhosi fans were critcising him, saying he is finished. However, 98% of Chiefs fans wished him good luck on his future. Below it is the comment that was made by some fans.

“This coming season I’m going to support all our players except for Eric Mathoho. All other players will be appreciated encouraged to do better I’m not going to bash them because what we say on Social media also plays an impact in the form of a player.

“As Kaizer Chiefs FC supporters we need to normalise supporting our players than always bashing them. That is why all our new signings I haven’t even badmouthed 1 player because I’m intending to support them what’s the use of judging a player while I haven’t seen what he can do in our club.

“Let’s not normalise giving abo Junior Khanye the power to continue disrespecting our players you never see him criticising Mamelodi Sundowns players the aim is to disrupt our team and I’m fed up they want to turn our supporters against our new recruits.

“He always has this negative thing to say about our new players but if you ask him where must the good players go he will tell you Mamelodi Sundowns must sign Sipho Mbule, Bongani Zungu etc all quality players but has the nerve to criticize our team in everything.

“Let’s learn to support our players encouraged them to do better as much as the club is rebuilding as Kaizer Chiefs supporters it’s also our chance to change how we treat our players.

Kaizer Chiefs need this guy Given Msimango. It’s no rocket science we need Given Msimango at Chiefs.

“He is the perfect replacement for Eric Mathoho next season great Defender tall, comfortable can play from the back can also score goals.

“So far in the PSL i rate him as the best Centre Back currently. Again since Dube is not in the plans of coach Arthur Zwane we must go for Rushwin Dortley top top player.”- some fans added.
