Kaizer Chiefs bid for PSL top Forward rejected
Kaizer Chiefs have officially lost the race for PSL top striker.
Despite the fact that Kaizer Chiefs’ new head coach Arthur Zwane stated that Royal AM striker Victor Letsoalo is the striker they are searching for and that he matches the Kaizer Chiefs mentality, it has been reported that the player would not be joining the club.
According to inside sources, Kaizer Chiefs were unable to meet Royal AM’s expectations because Letsoalo’s market worth soared after he scored 15 goals in the league.
Despite the exorbitant transfer fee, Kaizer Chiefs attempted to pay R8 million for Victor Letsoalo, a deal that Royal AM has confirmed was rejected, and Kaizer Chiefs would not return with a better offer.
According to reports, Kaizer Chiefs complained because Royal AM wanted roughly R15 million, and the club has already begun talks with Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko in the hopes of signing Cameroonian talent Frank Mbella Etouga.
However, Kaizer Chiefs is up against stiff competition from Europe, and another player who has been recommended to Kaizer Chiefs is Asec Mimosa’s Ivorian forward Karim Konate. The young player, who has just turned 18 years old, has already shown immense growth on his ball movements and scoring, as well as his pace on and off the ball.
