Kaizer Chiefs target Lorch and Mashego
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly trying to sign both Thembinkosi Lorch and Terrence Mashego from their arch rivals!
Lorch has endured a difficult spell at Mamelodi Sundowns, making just two starts for the club so far this season.
According to the latest reports, Kaizer Chiefs are ready to take advantage of Lorch’s situation at Chloorkop by offering him a way out.
Mashego finds himself in a similar situation as Lorch, with Aubrey Modiba and Divine Lunga sitting ahead of him in the pecking order at right-back.
Mashego’s price tag however appears to be a stumbling block in Chiefs’ pursuit of him.
According to a bombshell report by Sunday World, Kaizer Chiefs are deep in negotiations with Mamelodi Sundowns over the signature of Thembinkosi Lorch.
“In what is likely to be another January transfer move of the season, Sunday World has it in good authority that Kaizer Chiefs are indeed working hard behind the scenes and engaging in talks with Mamelodi Sundowns for the signing of Thembinkosi Lorch,” the publication reported.
“Talks between the Naturena boys and Terrence Mashego have apparently hit a snag over the selling price. Lorch, who made a surprise switch from Orlando Pirates to Sundowns in January last year, is likely to be making another move that could shock the entire SA football fraternity.”
