Kaizer Chiefs are close to signing Bafana Bafana’s Talisman
Kaizer Chiefs are in advanced talks with a former Bafana Bafana player who now plays in Iran!
According to sources, Kaizer Chiefs are nearing an agreement with star midfielder Ayanda Patosi!
Ayanda Patosi, a former Bafana Bafana international and Cape Town City midfielder, is apparently in early talks with Kaizer Chiefs about a big move to Naturena!
With his current contract at Iranian side FC Foolad expiring in June 2022, Ayanda Patosi is eligible to sign a pre-contract with Naturena.
Patosi scored 11 goals and added nine assists in 46 games for Cape Town City FC, and if the team is successful in bringing him to Naturena, he will surely provide a fresh element to the Chiefs’ assault.
Kaizer Chiefs are gaining ground on the two-time Belgian league champion midfielder! According to SundayWorld, the Glamour Boys have begun discussions with Patosi.
“Talks with Kaizer Chiefs bosses are at an advanced stage,” a source told the publication. “Hopefully, more information about the proceedings will emerge.”
“The player wants to return home, and he demonstrated his worth while with Cape Town City FC.”
Former Chiefs midfielder Humphrey Mlwane told SoccerLaduma that “Ayanda Patosi is one player that Kaizer Chiefs could add to their midfield for creativity since he is very skilled and experienced.”
“He is deft and a fantastic passer of the ball, which is exactly what the Chiefs need right now instead of relying on defensive midfielders. What I really admire about the youngster is that he has a strong eye for goal and can contribute to the Chiefs’ success”
“These are the types of players that Kaizer Chiefs should be looking at for their development because, aside from his talent and all of the traits that I’ve described, that boy is experienced and among the best players in the country,” says the coach.
