Kaizer Chiefs accused of lying about R6 million Mmodi fee by Golden Arrows.
Mmh, this is rather awkward. Golden Arrows have claimed that Kaizer Chiefs lied about a R6 million fee for Pule Mmodi.
Will Kaizer Chiefs actually get the Pule Mmodi deal done? Right now it is not looking great if we’re honest.

As The South African website has previously reported, Amakhosi are determined to sign Arrows’ 29-year-old attacking midfielder Mmodi.
With the Durban club having an existing two-year extension on the player’s deal, a transfer fee needs to be agreed on.
Previous reports have said that Arrows requested a R6 million fee, but the club known as Abafana Bes’thende have claimed that the Soweto giants lied about that.
“Mkhaya! No decoding is needed. Ilula lento, your club must be honest about negotiations taking place. As for that 6M price tag. Where did that figure come from?” the club tweeted.
Arrows went on to say that their valuation was in fact not enough at R3 million.
“People guessing figures and it’s considered facts, kudlaliwe ngathi. We didn’t even ask for half of that,” Arrows added.
