Information Technology (IT) Manager

Reports to Chief Financial Officer

Job Status Permanent

Job Purpose The purpose of this position is to manage all internal and external IT systems. Oversee the development and
implementation of Information and Technology
Systems.

Grading Band 7 (R425 595.00 – R553 274.00)

Remuneration Cost to Company package applies

Requirements

Experience 5 Years

Key Outputs
• Create and implement IT policies, protocols and standards
• Work with upper management to develop the IT department budget
• Ensure that IT department strategies and processes provide appropriate support to organisation-wide goals
• Communicate with other executives regarding costs, value and riskpotential of new IT projects
• Setup, administer and maintain the Local Area and Wide Area Networks and Administer Servers
• Maintain Network Security
• Ensure that all systems are backed up regularly
• Routine Servers maintenance
• Maintain Network Uptime
• Conduct hardware and software troubleshooting
• Provide 1st and 2nd line support on all network related queries. • Software & Hardware installations and maintenance
• Overall administration software updates on WSUS.
• Management of in-house systems
• Oversee the MySAFA.net project
• Responsible for setting up of systems at the SAFA events
• Focal point of contact for related external service providers
