Dylan Kerr Drop Some Astounde Claim About Thibedi.

Following his transfer from Kaizer Chiefs, Swallows FC coach Dylan Kerr responded to claims that Given Thibedi deserved more game time.
Thibedi, a regular for Swallows last season, has made only three substitute appearances this season.
Since joining Swallows from Kaizer Chiefs in 2021/22, the 24-year-old has only played 45 minutes in total.
Thibedi, on the other hand, has been told by Kerr that he must improve as a player if he is to be given more playing time.“
“So all of a sudden, everybody’s talking about Given Thibedi,” Kerr told Sinethemba Makonco on Zibonele FM on Zibonele FM.
“I know what a quality player he is, and he’s gonna get better. But he needs to grow and develop as a player.
“I said to him it’s like he’s played 500 games and he hasn’t, he’s played five.
“So, you know, he’s from Kaizer Chiefs, why didn’t he stay at Kaizer Chiefs?
“People might ask where these players are but they I have to work with them everyday and see what their attitude is and see what the character is.”
There no player in this world who will be happy being bench or seat on stand, never. In football world, you develop while playing and that’s where a coach should monitor you, your altitude, characters and your progress, See how you behave. Every player deserves a chance, especially a player that was regular in many features.
How can a player who featured in many and major games don’t even make it to the starting berth or bench even on stand. Something is not right. You can’t be regular then quenched at the end.
What went wrong with Thibedi?. Is he not doing what is expected of him in training or what?.
It remains to be seen whether he will get game time at Swallows FC under the new coach, Dylan Kerr.
