Dstv Premiership club set to go after Vincent Pule after his Orlando Pirates a season after signing a new two-year deal with the Buccaneers.

Ever since the conclusion of the 2023/2024 season, Pirates has released a handful of experienced players like Kermit Erasmus, Siyabonga Mpontshane, Thabang Monare, and recently Pule, as the club prepared for the upcoming season.

The release of Pule came as somewhat of a surprise, given he signed a two-year deal with the club heading to the recently ended season, ending a seven-year stay at the club.

Ambitious Limpopo and Gauteng-based club Sekhukhune United is said to be targeting the former now-defunct Bidvest Wits star ahead of next season, according to Soccer Laduma.

“Vincent Pule’s name has been mentioned for a possible move to Sekhukhune. He is one of the players who fits the club’s profile and recruitment strategy in line with their ambitious for success in the league and Africa.

“You must remember that team will also be going back to the CAF Confederation Cup, and therefore, reinforcing with quality players in key positions is crucial for the club. Having appointed a new coach, the club is doing everything possible to help him succeed, and therefore, you can expect some exciting signings for the club,” Soccer Laduma source said.

Meanwhile, Babina Noko has also shown interest in signing former Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker Gaston Sirino, who also recently left Masandawana after success eight years at Chloorkop.
