Breaking: Manchester City issue statement following ‘fight’ video involving Phil Foden.
Manchester City were’shocked and outraged’ by the insults directed at England star Phil Foden during the Khan-Brook brawl.
Footage of a fight at Manchester Arena involving members of the public and a group that included the England midfielder has emerged on social media.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) claim they haven’t received any reports about the event.
However, after examining the clip, they are undertaking more investigations.
City stated that they were aware of a video depicting “Phil Foden and his family being harassed and mistreated.”
“We are shocked and appalled about the nature of the abuse and ensuing assault on one of Phil’s family members,” their statement added.
“We will continue to give Phil and his family all the support and assistance they need.”
GMP confirmed in a statement that they are “aware of a video circulating on social media depicting a disturbance at the AO Arena” on Saturday.
“We are undertaking additional investigations into the circumstances surrounding the occurrence,” they stated.

The battle looked to start as Kell Brook was making his approach to the ring ahead of his triumph over Khan, with his ring walk song, ‘All of the Lights,’ playing in the background.
Brook went on to win the massive grudge match in the sixth round, defeating Khan.
