The Tanzanian powerhouse talisman was recognized by Kaizer Chiefs as the ideal replacement for their former striker Samir Nurkovic, but things didn’t work out well in their chase of the top player as Young Africans rejected Kaizer Chiefs since they still wanted to keep their elite talisman.

Tanzanian superpower Young Africans turned down an offer from Kaizer Chiefs for the Congolese goal-scoring monster Fiston Mayele.
According to Africans CEO Senzo Mazingisa, a former administrative manager for Orlando Pirates, “the club received two bids for our star player Fiston Mayele. Kaizer Chiefs and Berkane (Morocco) expressed interest in our goalscoring star, but as a club we are not selling.”
