BREAKING | Chiefs Close In On Two New Signings.

Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be closing in on two new signings to further strengthen their team ahead of the new season, the Siya crew can reveal.

Chiefs have parted ways with seven players so far and have made three signings in Ashley Du Preez, Zitha Kwinika and Siyethemba Sithebe , but it appears that Chiefs are far from done in the transfer market!

According to well-placed Siya sources, Chiefs are understood to be closing in on Swallows duo Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Dillon Solomons.

The duo are currently with the Birds contesting the PSL promotion/relegation play-offs and were both in action as they managed to beat Cape Town All Stars at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.

According to the source, the finer details between the respective parties are still being discussed, however, deals for both players are as good as done and the duo is expected to join up with the rest of their Amakhosi teammates for pre-season.

The Siya crew reported in August last year that Chiefs had enquired about Mahlatse’s availability although nothing came from the move at the time although indications are that Chiefs have finally got their man, albeit a year later.

Meanwhile for Solomons, he has enjoyed an inspired campaign in a struggling Swallows team since being converted from a winger to a full back and is expected to provide competition to Reeve Frosler in the right back position next season.
