Bolivia and Mamelodi have reached an agreement for Saavedra, according to South Africa.
Erwin Saavedra, a midfielder from Bolivia, is gaining traction in African soccer. In the last few hours, it was revealed that the South African club Mamelodi Sundowns from Pretoria had offered a significant financial sum for the midfielder.
The teams’ negotiations are nearing completion; only a few specifics remain to seal the deal.
It happened in Colombia during his pre-season game. According to a Mamelodi Sundowns insider, a South African club has reached an agreement with Bolivia for Erwin Saavedra’s transfer. Masandawana put out a 1.2 million dollar offer.
Sundowns submitted an offer for Oruro midfielder to the heavenly dome a few days ago. With each passing hour, the deal gained more traction.
Turkish clubs have recently expressed interest in the player, who began his pre-season with the Colombian Academy. Bolívar would have turned down the offers if the figures had not exceeded their expectations.
The negotiations between clubs have come to conclusion, according to Masandawana blog, a Mamelodi Sundowns news blog quoted by the ‘influencer’ Alex Cabo, and only a few technicalities remain to seal the trade.
“The clubs have already reached an agreement. The pay of Saavedra is currently being negotiated. There are still some details to be worked out. They proposed a sum of 1.2 million dollars,” according to the website that hosts information from that squad.
“Erwin Saveedra is ready to join Mamelodi Sundowns,” according to African Soccer Updates, an African sports news source.
The agreement would be for the midfielder’s sporting rights to be sold permanently.

Erwin Saavdera, 25, was brought to Bolívia by former player Wálter Flores. He made his debut in the year 2014. He has been a member of the club for over seven years and has won five trophies with them. He competed in a total of 12 international tournaments (six South American and six Libertadores).
He made only four appearances for Goiás in Brazil in 2017, his first time playing in a foreign country. When he returned to the Academy, he instantly became a starter. He exceeded all expectations and outperformed them all. The next year, he was elected captain of the team after starting all of the games and rapidly establishing himself as a prominent player.
Mamelodi Sundowns may unveil Erwin Saavedra sooner than expected.
