Arthur Zwane Revealed Some Players Struggled Breathing.
Kaizer Chiefs won 2-0 over Sekhukhune United as they returned to action after they failed to honour the matches against Cape Town City and Golden Arrows.
Arthur Zwane admitted that midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange was breathing heavily during the match.
“Because we know our players as you could see last 20 minutes, you could see players cramping. Reeve Frosler was not even comfortable breathing. So we had to make forced changes which is something that we anticipated.”
“As you could see today, we risked Phathu and he was actually breathing heavily and at some point he was coughing. We had no choice because we wanted to consolidate and we needed him and Njabulo Blom had already been cramping. We would have loved to bring in one of the younger boys from the development, but at some point we did not just want to throw them into the deep end,” Zwane told the media after the match.
Kaizer Chiefs Is currently in position 2 in the DStv Premiership Log.
