The 19-year-old Kaizer Chiefs Diski Challenge Star won the Man-of-the-Match accolade and received a substantial R100,000 check in the process.

“The money that I got today, as my father passed away last year, I was planning to at least buy a tombstone for him… then the other, obviously I will give my mom and the [rest] will go into a savings account,” Hlongwane said as quoted by IDiski Times.

“It was a great experience playing with the big players in the PSL, and Mfundo Vilakazi. I have been training with him also before he was promoted to the Kaizer Chiefs first team, 17, U19, and DDC before he was promoted.”
