Amakhosi Star Set To travel to Spain.
In an attempt to secure a move abroad, a Kaizer Chiefs talent is due to fly to Spain to train with Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Amakhosi development coach Vela Khumalo has confirmed that Mduduzi Shabalala will practice with the two Spanish sides, according to Isolezwe.
Shabalala’s travel might have taken place earlier, but it was postponed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to Khumalo.
A FANTASTIC CHANCE FOR KAIZER CHIEFS STARLET
“His trip was canceled because to Covid-19, but they wrote to us and asked that he vaccinate, which he did. All that’s left is for them to notify us when he’ll be arriving.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for him to be viewed by a variety of teams, and he may not return because of his talent.” Khumalo
KAIZER CHIEFS STILL HAS A PLACE FOR SHABALALA.
Khumalo was asked if Shabalala, who recently made headlines by scoring a hat-trick in a DStv Diski Challenge match against Royal AM, would still have a place at Chiefs if he fails in Spain.
Shabalala’s performances at the U17 Cosafa Cup event in 2020, according to Khumalo, helped him secure this trip to Spain.
Furthermore, Khumalo believes Shabalala’s performances at the U17 Cosafa Cup tournament in 2020 helped him secure this trip to Spain.
“If he doesn’t succeed, he will come back and continue his development at Naturena because he’s an amazing talent that’s rare in Mzansi.
“Being named player of the tournament at the Cosafa Cup tournament meant a lot, and it wasn’t by a mistake. What’s good is that he’s playing for Kaizer Chiefs where there is pressure; that will help him settle.”Vela Khumalo
All the best to the young man, he deserves it.
