Mlangeni issues come-and-get-me plea to Chiefs
Pretoria Callies star Mpho Mlangeni has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Kaizer Chiefs after Amakhosi made enquiries about the attacking midfielder’s availability.
The exciting player recently scooped the 2022 eKasi Champ of Champs tournament top goal scorer award after scoring four goals in the competition.
“Chiefs is a big team with big expectations, so for me to be linked with such a team, is an honour. And the fact that my club Callies thinks I’m worth R1 million, that has given me self-motivation as I never thought I would be worth so much,” Mlangeni told SL.
“My performances through the tournament showed what I am capable of doing, my talent and work hard, so with Chiefs even showing interest shows that I am ready to play in the DStv Premiership, not Chiefs per say but in the Premiership, as that is my dream.
“I pray to God he makes the move possible to Chiefs as I don’t think there is any player out there who wouldn’t want to play for Chiefs, Orlando Pirates or Mamelodi Sundowns. But I am still contracted to Callies and I have to respect that and give my all in the upcoming season, which is my last year at Callies.”
The 26-year-old is represented by P Management who recently facilitated Yusuf Maart’s transfer to Chiefs from Sekhukhune United. Per Austin Ditlhobolo
